We had our 2nd annual Christmas at the Cabin on Christmas Eve. We started out by talking to Jason on Skype-we even had my dad break out the guitar so we could sing him a few Christmas carols! It was so nice to include him into the celebration! There was tons of food-ham, cheesy potatoes, mashed potatoes, salad, pie, and a birthday cake for Jesus! After we ate there were gifts to be opened which the kids had tons of fun opening. It was then time for some outside fun: snowball fights, snowman making and sledding! So much fun! The kids came in and warmed up with some hot cocoa-it was the most perfect day!
Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or cast a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.
James 1:17-18
