Our porch has been in need of repair for a very.long.time. We had some shingles blow over and it left part of the roof exposed so every time it rained it did damage. What was left was a hole and pieces of the roof falling down each time it rained. The week before Jason returned my dad started the project of fixing it for us. Unfortunately it was extremely HOT and HUMID!! Most of that week we had temperatures in the upper 90's and heat indexes in the 100's. He tore the whole porch off by himself. And put the new one on, by himself. We could not be more grateful for all the time and work he put into replacing it. In the end it took him almost two weeks to complete it but it sure looks amazing! Thanks dad, we love you- we're sure going to miss having you around her every day!!

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35
