School Parties

Both of the girls had their school parties last week. Thankfully they were at separate times so I was able to help out with both of them. I am one of the Room Mothers for both rooms and am grateful to have had such great help!

Lauren's class party was in the morning from 10-11. Lauren dressed up as a Midnight Fairy. We started the party with a snack. I had found some super cute cookies shaped like a pumpkin with orange frosting also in the shape of a pumpkin! These were a huge hit with the kids! After snack their class did a parade through all the other classrooms in the building. It was very exciting for them to show off their costumes!! One of the other Room Mothers made a cute game "Pin the Grin on the Jack O Lantern"- the kids really enjoyed trying to get the grin in just the right place.

Emma's class party was held in the afternoon from 2-3. Emma dressed up as a Flapper. They started off their party with a parade through each of the classrooms and also around the block outside. After the parade we had a snack- the same cookies and apple cider. The kids had a lot of fun taking pictures showing off their costumes and then playing a few games.
