It is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.

Homecoming Weekend

After we got all of Jason's stuff from his bus we went back to our hotel. Jason took a shower! And then Jason's parents, his sister Tiffini and her family, his sister Kim and her family and our family went to Red Lobster for supper. The girls got to hold a live lobster while we were waiting to be seated!
 The Family :)

After supper we went back to the hotel to do some swimming!
Saturday morning we went to Old Market in Omaha. They had a Farmers Market so we walked around there for a while-the girls enjoyed trying samples and listening to live music.

We had lunch at Spaghetti Works and then walked around the Old Market. Their were not many shops for the girls and they were wanting to do some shopping so we took them to the WestRoads Mall in Omaha. The girls had fun doing a little shopping and Grandma let them each get a tattoo!

After saying our goodbyes we departed from the mall and started our 2 1/2 hour drive from Omaha to Lakeview, Ia where my family was waiting for us. (My Brother-In Law Chris has a house on the lake and my parents, brother Adam and sister in law Jill, and my sister Mindy and her family had went there Friday night.) They were grilling steaks and had cheesy potatoes (Jason's Favorite!) and sweet corn waiting for us! After we had supper the girls did a little swimming in the lake and then Chris took us out on the boat to do a little tubing. It was the perfect night. The sun started to set while we were out there and it was beautiful!

And of course we made SMORE's
The next morning we got up and and Chris made everyone omelets!
And then we did it again!

And then Emma did a little tubing by herself!
We had a fabulous weekend spent with our families. A big thank you to all of you...we love you so much!

he delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4
