I can't believe it is already midterm time in school! We have made it through the first six weeks! I am really enjoying my job and have caught on pretty quickly. There are so many things to do and learn!
Emma has been adjusting to 3rd Grade quite well! She has more quizzes and tests this year, along with increased memory work, and harder material. She had an amazing midterm and we are so proud of her!
Lauren has been having tons of fun at school! Lauren has class every afternoon from 12-3. She has been learning about families and communities, making some fun fish crafts to go along with their theme "Dive into Preschool", practicing letters and numbers, and learning the new school routine. Each student made a journal and we try to make journal pages about all the fun things we have been doing and learning! This is some of her work...

*Lauren made this entire picture by herself-sentence and all. We wrote the sentence on the white board and asked them to write it on their picture. Didn't she do a fabulous job!! :)

Lauren used an apple cut in half to stamp paint on her paper.
Then she traced an apple shape and cut it out!
When she was finished she described an apple using her 5 senses.
Their preschool class acted out the story of Baby Moses.
Lauren is playing the part of the princess who finds
baby Moses floating in a basket and saves him.
