Memorial Day

We had a Memorial Day lunch at my parents. Dad grilled up some fabulous food. Brats, brat patties, hamburgers & hot dogs along with watermellon, cheesy potatoes & beans. My mom made homeade ice cream sandwiches that were a big hit with all the kids! They played in the creek for a while but the bugs were biting pretty bad so it was short lived. This Memorial Day really hit home as Jason will be leaving in a few months. We pray every night for God to protect him and bring him home safely to us!








We spent the rest of the afternoon swimming in our friends pool. Cousins Madi, Mason, Jaxson, Hannah & Noah were there too! Lauren was able to swim with just floaties on her arms-I'm guessing by next summer she will be swimming like a fish! Both girls absolutely love the water!






Monday night Jason took the girls to see Shrek 4 & they all loved it!
