The girls were lucky enough to have both grandpa's come and carve pumpkins with them! Unfortunately it did not work out for them to come at the same time but they had a great time with both of them. Grandpa Ted arrived first around 4:30. The weather was beautiful so they were able to carve the pumpkin outside! They enjoyed coming up with a scary pumpkin face, scraping the insides out and made sure to save the pumpkin seeds to bake. When finished they took a break and enjoyed pumpkin pizza from Papa Murphys. They then went back outside to rake up a huge leaf pile! Literally more than an hour was spent outside in the leaves- it was the most fun they have had in quite some time!!
When Grandpa Rich arrived it was dark so we elected to carve the pumpkin inside. The girls again had fun coming up with a new face to carve in the pumpkin and scraping out the insides!!
They loved seeing the pumpkins lit up in the dark!
