It is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.

Snow Magic

Downtown Ames had Holiday themed activities this past weekend so I took the girls and Alexa to check it out. We started out by decorating cookies at Worldly Goods. It wasn't quite what we had expected but they really enjoyed it!

Then we headed to the Octagon to tour their Festival of Trees. Local businesses decorated trees that could be bid on, with the money raised going to support the Octagon. We enjoyed looking at the detail put into each tree while we ate cookies! Each girl looked for their favorite tree and when we were finished I took a picture with each of them and their favorite tree.
Lauren's favorite tree was a princess themed tree!
Emma's favorite was an animal themed tree!
Alexa's favorite was a beautifully decorated tree in honor of Barb Schager who recently lost her battle with pancreatic cancer.
After the Festival of Trees we decorated ornaments. The girls had a great time!

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible....all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Colossians 1:16-17
