It's hard to believe that someplace this beautiful can also be a place where our soldiers are being trained to go see things that are not so beautiful. It was much harder to drive Jason onto base to say goodbye than it was to do the Send Off and see them leave on buses. So many uncertainties and questions run through your mind as you hope and pray that the next nine months pass quickly and safely. We are so unbelievably grateful for the extra time we were able to spend together before he heads off to Afghanistan. We are blessed with wonderful family who made it possible for the trip to happen. The girls and I will never be able to repay you for your kindness. These memories will be with them always. Thank you!
