We had planned a trip to visit my brother and his wife Jill in Minneapolis the day after Jason left. I knew the girls would be sad (me too!) and we had not been to visit since they had moved. It was a short trip, we left on Monday morning and came home Wednesday night, but I am so glad we went. We were able to be surrounded by family and distract us from the reality of Jason being gone. The first day we were there we visited the local YMCA splash pool. The kids thought this was so much fun and I got some great pictures of them together! On Tuesday I took my girls to the Mall Of America to shop and visit the American Girl Store. Tuesday night Adam grilled amazing Pineapple Glazed Pork Chops and Jill made an awesome taco dip! Bekah was able to come join us which made the night even more fun! Wednesday morning we all went back to the Mall of America to ride some rides and do some more shopping. It was a great trip :)
YMCA Splash Pool
We planned a trip to the Mall of America!! It had been a while since I had been there and it was the girls' first time. We had a blast!! We all love shopping and had fun visiting new stores. Emma and Lauren are really glad Uncle Adam and Aunt Jill live so close, now we can go more often!
We planned a trip to the American Girl Store. We had an appointment for the dolls to get their hair done at 10am and a lunch reservation at 11 am at the American Girl Cafe.
Girls took their dolls to the American Girl Salon to get their hair done!
